If something is keeping your cursor away from that form, it’s probably one of these. Hover each thought — or tap it — and hear the other side of the argument.
It’s okay to want to know before you leap.
Most major insurance plans are accepted, and Maggie will verify your coverage before the first session. Private pay is $150 per 50-minute session, with a sliding scale available case-by-case.
Thirty minutes on the phone. You share as much or as little as you like about what’s bringing you in, ask anything you want, and see how it feels to talk with Maggie. If it doesn’t feel like a fit, she’ll point you somewhere better. No pressure, no commitment.
That’s one of the most common reasons people come. “Something feels off” is a perfectly good starting point — naming it precisely is part of the work, not a prerequisite for it.
No. Being unsure — even deeply ambivalent — is a normal place to start. Maggie works with people who are questioning, cutting back, newly sober, or protecting hard-won recovery — without shame, and without pushing you toward a decision you haven’t made.
Yes. Secure video sessions are available to anyone in Colorado, and the Boulder office is there when you’d rather sit in a real room. For most people online therapy is just as effective — research consistently backs this up. Many clients mix both.
It depends on what you’re carrying and what you want. Some people come for a season around a specific transition; others stay longer for deeper work. You’ll revisit this together regularly — there’s no meter running toward a required number of sessions.
Sessions run 50 minutes, typically weekly. Please give 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Payment is handled through a HIPAA-compliant system — all major cards accepted.
Everything you share is confidential, with the few legal exceptions every therapist is bound by (safety-related situations), which Maggie will walk you through plainly in your first session.
